Best Corporate Event Venues in Liverpool

Written by Nick Rushton — Award-Winning Magician

Liverpool is one of the UK's biggest conference and events destinations, and as a corporate magician in Liverpool I've performed at most of the city's major business venues. Here's my guide to the best corporate event venues in Liverpool — from huge exhibition spaces to characterful waterfront hotels.

Conference & Exhibition Venues

ACC Liverpool & Exhibition Centre Liverpool

The city's flagship events complex on Kings Dock, home to the M&S Bank Arena, conference centre and exhibition halls. It hosts everything from national conferences to large awards dinners. Close-up magic is brilliant here for drawing crowds during exhibitions and entertaining delegates in networking breaks.

Best for: Conferences, exhibitions, awards dinners · Location: Kings Dock, L3 4FP

Rum Warehouse, Titanic Hotel

An enormous, atmospheric event space inside the restored Stanley Dock warehouse. The Rum Warehouse regularly hosts large gala dinners, conferences and Christmas parties. Table magic between courses works superbly across the long banquet layouts — see my Titanic Hotel magician guide.

Best for: Gala dinners, large conferences, Christmas parties · Location: Stanley Dock, Regent Road, L3 0AN

Waterfront & City Hotels

Crowne Plaza Liverpool

A modern waterfront hotel beside the Princes Dock with flexible conference and banqueting suites. It's a reliable, well-equipped choice for conferences, meetings and dinners, with easy access from the city centre.

Best for: Conferences, meetings, dinners · Location: St Nicholas Place, Princes Dock, L3 1QW

Hilton Liverpool

Centrally located at One Park West beside Liverpool ONE, the Hilton offers contemporary event space in the heart of the city. Ideal for client evenings, networking receptions and smaller conferences.

Best for: Client hospitality, networking, conferences · Location: 3 Thomas Steers Way, L1 8LW

Aloft Liverpool

Set in the former Royal Insurance Building, Aloft pairs grand period architecture with stylish modern spaces. The Grand Hall makes an impressive setting for awards evenings and corporate dinners.

Best for: Awards evenings, corporate dinners · Location: North John Street, L2 6RR

Landmark & Stadium Venues

St George's Hall

One of the finest neo-classical buildings in Europe, St George's Hall offers genuine occasion for prestigious dinners and ceremonies. The Great Hall is breathtaking and makes any event feel important.

Best for: Prestige dinners, awards ceremonies · Location: St George's Place, L1 1JJ

Anfield & Goodison Park

Both of Liverpool's famous football grounds offer extensive hospitality and conference suites with a unique sense of place. Stadium venues are popular for conferences, dinners and Christmas parties, and the setting always adds a talking point.

Best for: Conferences, hospitality, Christmas parties · Location: Anfield (L4 0TH) / Goodison Park (L4 4EL)

Why Book Close-Up Magic for Your Corporate Event

Close-up magic is one of the most effective ice breakers for any business event. It needs no stage, PA or technical setup, works in any room, and creates an instant shared experience that gets people talking — perfect when guests don't all know each other. Here's where it works best:

  • Drinks receptions & networking — roaming magic relaxes guests and starts conversations.
  • Exhibition stands — magic draws and holds a crowd, giving your team time to engage.
  • Between dinner coursestable magic keeps energy high without interrupting the programme.
  • Awards evenings — entertainment during the natural lulls keeps the room buzzing.
