Magician in Tarporley
Weddings · Parties · Corporate Events
I'm Nick Rushton, a Cheshire-based close-up magician performing at weddings, corporate events and parties in Tarporley and across the county. With over 30 years' experience, I'm a former Magic Circle Young Magician of the Year winner and I've appeared on BBC One, Channel 5 and Sky.
Close-Up Magician in Tarporley
Tarporley is one of Cheshire's largest and most attractive villages — a historic high street set in beautiful open countryside between Chester and Nantwich — and as a county-based magician it's a lovely, familiar area for me to work in. I'm booked here for weddings, corporate events and private parties throughout the year.
Surrounded by the rural Cheshire countryside near Delamere Forest and Beeston, Tarporley is a popular spot for country-house and marquee celebrations. I also regularly cover nearby Kelsall, Bunbury, Cotebrook, Tattenhall, Chester and Nantwich. Travel across the area is always included in my quote.
Hiring a Magician in Tarporley
Close-up magic is the perfect ice breaker — at a wedding, corporate event or party, not all your guests will know each other. Magic creates an instant shared experience that gets everyone talking and laughing together. With magic on TV more popular than ever, guests are wonderfully receptive to close-up magic performed well.
Weddings in and around Tarporley
The countryside around Tarporley is prime Cheshire wedding territory, with country houses, barns and marquee settings dotted through the villages. Wedding magic works beautifully during the drinks reception — filling the gap while the couple have their photos taken — and table magic between courses of the wedding breakfast keeps guests entertained. Corporate Magician Tarporley
With Chester, Crewe and the wider Cheshire business area within easy reach, Tarporley is well placed for corporate events — conferences, awards dinners, product launches, team-building days and Christmas parties. Close-up magic is a natural ice-breaker for networking and drinks receptions, working around speeches and food without needing a stage.
How to Choose a Tarporley Magician
A polished website doesn't always mean a polished performance. Before you book, read genuine reviews and watch unedited live video footage so you know exactly what you'll get on the day. I'm always happy to have a friendly, no-pressure chat about your event first.
Reliability & Professionalism
I've been a professional magician for over 29 years and have never let anyone down. All bookings are confirmed in writing, final details are checked around a week before the event, and I always arrive early and smartly presented. I have Public Liability Insurance through Equity.
