Wedding magician websites are full of testimonials — and sadly many are generic, fabricated, or written by the magician themselves. Here's how to tell genuine reviews from fake ones:
- Named individuals and venues — real reviews come from real couples at real places you can verify.
- Specific detail — genuine reviews mention specific tricks, moments or guests, not just "he was great".
- Imperfect writing — real reviews have typos, different punctuation, different styles. Fake ones are suspiciously polished.
- Cross-check on other platforms — genuine popular magicians also have reviews on Google, Facebook, Hitched, Bridebook.
- Volume and consistency — 500+ reviews over many years is hard to fake. A handful of recent reviews is not.
